Family Fun in Nara

- Mt. Ikoma, Ikoma Sanjo Amusement Park

- Kochikuya

- Shigisan Chogosonshi-ji Temple
- Known as "Shigisan", this temple is famous for its huge tiger figures. Kids can enjoy walking through the belly of the tiger, which is supposed to make you brave and strong. History & Culture Ikoma
- Kintetsu Ikoma Cable Car
- The trip up Mt. Ikoma is half the fun. There are four cable cars, each with a different theme. You might take a cat, dog, cake or music shaped car. Even the insides are themed, with printed seats. Activities & Experiences Ikoma
- Shigisan Nodokamura Farm
- You can pick and eat unlimited strawberries or blueberries, pet and feed the animals, learn to make jam, or just run around in the park; this family-centered farm has plenty to do. Activities & Experiences Ikoma
- Yamato Onsen Nara Kenko Land
- This spa theme park is great for all ages, with various pools and onsen baths, play areas and karaoke rooms. Open 24 hours a day, it's a great rainy day option. Onsen & Public Baths Tenri
