This attractive store is run by the same family as the kusamochi store next door. The shop makes narazuke, the traditional local pickles made with sake lees. The pickles are wrapped, weighed down and stored in vats, which you can see in the back of the store, for around three years. According to the owner, her recipe is a little sweeter than usual, and easy to eat. Be sure to rinse off the sake lees and slice the pickles finely before eating. You will be invited to sample many types without obligation, and probably stay for a cup of tea.
