Surrounded by gravel gardens with Kitayama cedar and pine trees, the atmosphere is quiet and relaxing. The ryokan is known for its innovative kaiseki meals, and the chef is often featured on TV. Non-staying guests are welcome to book for lunch or dinner and the restaurant is also certified to serve halal meals. Dropping in for a bath is also fine.
