Visit Nara

This modern (though slightly retro) hotel has a mix of traditional tatami and western style rooms, with free Wi-Fi. In addition to an onsen hot spring for guests, the hotel has a bedrock spa (lying on warm stone) and massage services. Its three restaurants and casual cafe overlook attractive Japanese gardens with a waterfall. The hotel is close to Shin-Omiya Station, making it convenient for getting to Nara city’s main sights or traveling deeper into the countryside. There is also a free shuttle bus between the hotel and the main stations, plus Genkoji Temple in Naramachi. Be aware that very few staff can speak English.
