Visit Nara

This patisserie is one of the few places to eat on the way to Saidaiji Temple, and it may seem a surprising location for world class cakes. The chef, Mr Hayashi, has won several international awards for his creations and it is a popular stop for special occasion cakes to take home. There are tables inside and outside for tea or coffee and cake. The space has an old Europe atmosphere and large showcases full of delectable confections.
