Kushikatsu, essentially skewers of fried meat and vegetable, is a popular cuisine that originated in the casual bars of Osaka. At kobetei, an attactive restaurant set in a 1920’s European style building with counter seating, you can sample a range of kushikatsu. Popular options include seafood such as salmon, shrimp and mussels, as well as asparagus, tofu and cubes of steak. Kobetei was awarded a Michelin star in the 2017 Michelin Guide.
