Operating in a 150-year old townhouse, the teas here are all sourced locally from the tea fields in northern Nara. You can buy the tea pre-packaged or by the gram, and there are usually free samples of a few different teas to taste. It is said that monks from Todaiji and Kohfukuji temples get their tea here.
