This historic sweet shop has been making monaka sweets (a delicate wafer shell filled with bean paste), for 160 years. The main store is close to the main torii gate of Omiwa Shrine and has a simple tea shop overlooking a garden, offering tea and soft drinks, along with seasonal sweets. The name comes from nearby Mt Mimuro, another name for Mt Miwa.
