The real draw of this rustic garden restaurant is the food. While it is usually open as a casual cafe with homemade cakes, in cherry blossom season, it gets very busy and reservations are needed. At that time, you can only have the daily lunch course. The owner is a passionate chef, who creates lunch courses based around local, seasonal ingredients like salt-grilled ayu fish, wild boar meat and tempura of mountain mushrooms.
