Visit Nara

Near Kintetsu Koriyama Station, the current owner’s grandfather opened a traditional “kissaten” coffee house here 40 years ago. She took over two years ago, keeping most of the retro furnishings (including the traditional toilet), adding some crafty touches and a good sound system with funky lounge music. Decent coffee and homemade cakes are served all day along with lunch specials like vegetable curry, homemade soup and salad. They occasionally hold live music nights and game nights.
