This charming, traditional restaurant near Horyuji Temple offers a very inexpensive lunch special with miso soup, rice, vegetables and pickles plus a grilled dish: usually locally caught fish. However, they only prepare limited quantities, and the restaurant closes when sold out. There are no English menus, but you can just ask for the lunch set.
