This is the restaurant of Itaniya Ryokan, just across the road, though you don’t need to be a guest to dine here. If you want to use the onsen at the hotel, you can get a discount if you dine at the restaurant. The food is traditional kaiseki style, with a range of price points, from around ¥2,000. Seasonal dishes include kakinoha sushi, local somen noodles and hotpots with local duck meat or yamato pork.
