Ideally located for visitors to Taimadera Temple, the speciality here is kamameshi, a dish of rice and other ingredients cooked together in a small pot. The restaurant is set in a traditional garden with regular table and chair seating rather than tatami seating on the floor. Choose from pork, chicken or beef kamameshi. Menus are available in English and Chinese. Cooked to order, meals take around 30 minutes to prepare and are served with a selection of side dishes including pickles and miso soup.
