Visit Nara

This large cafe is spread over three levels of a restored machiya house. If you approach Imaicho from Kintetsu Yaginishiguchi Station, it’s the first place you see, just over the red bridge. The eclectic retro furnishings, subdued lighting and lounge music add to the relaxing atmosphere.  Although there are no English menus, there are some photos and the staff are very friendly, and can make recommendations.  There’s a daily plate lunch and many cake and drink options. The cafe is open until 10pm.
