A well-known vegetable pickler since the Edo period, the business has expanded to become a relaxing, leafy complex just off the main street of Naramachi. It now has a simple restaurant serving casual, traditional dishes accompanied by original pickled veg, including the local specialty, narazuke. There is an attractive outdoor area with tables and market umbrellas and a function space that is popular for local weddings and parties.
