This store, like the sushi, originated in Gojo, southern Nara and the shop also carries many products from the Gojo area, including dried persimmons, sake and soy sauce. There is a small tea room in the back of the store, where you can eat kakinoha sushi or local sweets, along with persimmon leaf tea. With an emphasis on good old fashioned service, they have free mobile phone and camera charging stations, a free luggage storage service and a small library of books on Nara plus an accessible toilet and baby changing area.
