If you don’t mind some steep stairs, this small shrine in a bamboo forest behind Ohmiwa Jinja Shrine has a lovely atmosphere. There is a small observatory in the shrine precincts with views over the Miwa area. The deity of this shrine represents wisdom, and it is a popular place to pray for good luck before exams and job interviews.
