This imposing complex is the headquarters of Tenrikyo, a monotheistic religion with roots in Shinto, which was founded in the 19th Century. Tenrikyo is also known for its strength in Judo, drawing martial artists from around the world. Visitors are welcome to take off their shoes and visit the temple.
