This classical garden is close to Naramachi, just below the Nara Hotel. Designed for strolling in all seasons, it offers attractive views from all angles. The red lacquer bridge framed by pine trees is very photogenic. While there isn’t much information in English, the staff are very welcoming, and there is a small visitor center with a rest area, exhibition space and toilets. The garden costs just ¥100 and is seldom busy.
