This spacious souvenir store has a range of local crafts and products, including the calligraphy equipment that Nara is famous for. There are some striking, carved wooden masks with Buddhist and Noh themes, Inden accessories (bags etc made of deer skin with designs applied in lacquer), local rice and sake and scale models of Horyuji temple. The subtle scent of incense puts you in the mood to visit the surrounding temples.
